    The differential pressure transmitters of Honeywell’s SmartLine series STD700 replace most competitive transducers. They allow for a continuous and precise measurement of fluids and gases in a variety of different applications.

    The high-precision, piezoresistive transducers feature multiple sensors linking process pressure measurement with static pressure (DP models) and temperature compensation measurement.

    Modular and robust, the pressure transmitters of Honeywell’s SmartLine series are particularly suitable for use in complex process environments.

    Applications:

    Level measurement: The STD700 differential pressure transmitter is used for hydrostatic level measurement in closed, non-ventilated tanks and vessels. The fill level is determined via the differential pressure between the bottom (higher pressure) and the top side (lower pressure).

    Filter monitoring: The STD700 is also used for filter monitoring. The more clogged or dirty a filter gets, the higher the pressure difference. The state of the filters can be monitored with the help of differential pressure and advance warnings.

    Flow measurement: The STD700 by Honeywell can also be used for flow measurement. Using the differential pressure method, the mass flow of a substance is measured within a certain orifice measuring section.

    Special importance should be placed on the precise dimensioning of the orifice plate and the correct adjustment of the transducer to the process.
